EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITISATION AND REPROCESSING THERAPY

Eye Movement DesensitiSation and Reprocessing (EMDR) was developed to support

aims to help people manage difficult emotions, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and take actions towards a value-driven life. DBT teaches skills in four main areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
In traditional DBT, you will attend a weekly group session (with about 8-10 other people) during which you learn the different skills. These groups are complimented with individual therapy and phone coaching (a service that allows you to speak with a psychologist to coach you through using the skills).
We only offer individual sessions at the moment. If you would like to access the full range of DBT supports, please speak with your GP for a referral to a DBT service.
